What is Neurological rehabilitation?
Neurological rehabilitation (rehab) is a doctor-supervised program designed for people with diseases, injury, or disorders of the nervous system. Neurological rehab can often improve function, reduce symptoms, and improve the well-being of the patient.
Our neurological rehab program is designed to meet our patients individual needs, depending on their specific problem or disease. Active involvement with both our patients and their family is vital to the success of our program.
The goal of neurological rehab is to help you return to the highest level of function and independence possible, while improving your overall quality of life — physically, emotionally, and socially.
Your personal physical therapy begins with a comprehensive evaluation of functional limitations and areas of pain including postural and biomechanical assessments, to diagnose your problem.
We provide a team approach and with our patient's direction will consult any involved parties including your family, physician, case manager, employer etc.
When you are ready for discharge, you will receive a personalized home exercise program to allow you to further enhance your rehabilitation while safely performing your daily activities.
